This trend is supported by the growth of indoor dog parks — a clean and safe place where owners’ take their dogs to play and meet up with friends – both humans and other dogs. Doggy day cares, kennels and spas have been around for a long time, as have groomers and pet walkers. What has been missing is a place where pet owners have the opportunity to play and visit with their dogs, out of weather extremes and in a clean and safe environment a place where they can get all the services they need. K9 Indoor Park and Services is a new business that will fill a niche market need in the Dorval-Lachine-St. Laurent areas of Montreal. The owners will open a 20,000 sq. ft. facility that will include and indoor park, swimming pool, agility equipment, a wash station, doggie daycare, kennel services and pet supplies — all under one roof.
